The most common way to think about happiness is of the feeling we have when we are smiling and laughing, however there is more to it. Happiness is the sense of contentment with the mind, when we are at peace with it. And this doesn’t have to depend on the external circumstances being favourable, funny or happy. We have the opportunity to experience it regardless of those external forces. Continue reading
Think about it well. What is the most difficult thing in your day, is it that you don’t like how your blankets match the pillows, or which clothes to put on in the morning? That classifies in what I would call a comfy settling. That’s good, but you just need to be aware of it and to know that it means you are not working towards a change. Change always comes with difficulty and discomfort, with some sort of struggle. Continue reading
I use how much I know or what I have as an excuse to not do certain things. The problem is that what you know or what you have is not the bottom line most of the time. Sure it helps to have learned how to do things so that it’s easier for you, or to have money, good equipment, etc. However, the bottleneck most of the time is what you do or don’t do. I keep forgetting it, but when I remember it calms me down. It’s not about trying to make things hard for yourself, because life is already hard on its own. Recently it seems like clouds have gone over your days. Everything is going wrong. You are not motivated, not productive at work, fighting with people around or maybe just wondering if you’re doing what you need to be.
Not sure what the problem is? Continue reading
One of the chief causes of fatigue is boredom.
I know a bit unintuitive but it actually is true. Studies have been done that show that the brain as a muscle cannot fatigue on its own. However, hormones have been found in the blood that are common with fatigue in cases when the subjects were not interested and were bored with the tasks at hand. Continue reading
